About the event
The 100 Women (in Houston) Who Give a Damn is a group of philanthropic women who want to make a positive impact in the community. We meet once a quarter for a happy hour and donate $100 each to a local organization.
At our meetings, three charities present for 5 minutes to discuss their purpose, goals, and needs. After the organizations present, our members secretly vote for the charity they believe has the greatest need for support. The charity who receives the most votes from our members will receive a check from each attendee of (at least) $100.00.
